How do I deactivate my license for a website?

Deactivate from the Admin Area

You can deactivate an add-on / extension license key from the WordPress admin area of a website where it was previously activated.

To deactivate your license key:

  1. Navigate to Forms -> Settings -> PDF -> License in your admin area
  2. Locate the extension you want to deactivate the license for
  3. Select the Deactivate License button

After deactivating the license your Gravity PDF extension will no longer receive updates, and you won’t be able to get support for the plugin on that website.

If your license key includes multiple products, deactivating one extension will deactivate all extensions the license covers.

note

Gravity PDF will always remove the license from a site upon deactivation, even if the request to GravityPDF.com fails. If that happens, follow the remote deactivation steps below to free up the site.

Deactivate Remotely

If you have lost access to a website where the license is activated, or an error occurred during deactivation, you can remotely deactivate the key from your GravityPDF.com account.

To deactivate your license key remotely:

  1. Go to the Licenses page in your account
  2. Find the license you want to deactivate
  3. Select the Manage Sites link
  4. Find the site and select the Deactivate Site link

Once done, your license count will be reduced and that website will no longer receive updates.
