How do I upgrade my license?
You can easily upgrade your license from the Licenses page in your GravityPDF.com account.
To upgrade:
- Go to the Licenses page in your account
- Find the license you want to upgrade in the table
- Select the
View Upgrades
link - Review the upgrades available and select the
Upgrade License
link - Complete the checkout process
A cost-based prorate is applied to all upgrades, which means you’ll pay the price difference between your existing license and your new one.
Ben has purchased a single site license for the Gravity PDF Previewer extension. He now wants to use the extension on another website. He paid $99AUD for the 1 site license and the 3 sites license costs $158AUD. Ben will pay $158 - $99 = $59AUD to upgrade.
When you upgrade to the Template Pass, Extension Pass, or All Access Pass, any product you have an active license for that’s available in the pass will get included in the prorate calculation.
Ben has a 3 sites license for the Previewer extension costing $158AUD and a 1 site license for Core Booster costing $99AUD. He now wants to upgrade to an All Access Pass ($399AUD). Ben will pay $399 - $158 - $99 = $142AUD to upgrade.
When you upgrade a license, the expiration date of the license doesn’t change. If you are nearing the end of your license term it is cheaper to renew your current license early and then upgrade.
Tess purchased the Charlie certificate on 2023-11-01 for $39AUD. It’s currently 2024-10-20 and she wants to upgrade to the Template Pass.
If Tess completes the upgrade before her original license renews she would pay $199 - $39 = $160AUD today. Then in 10 days time she would need to renew the Template Pass and pay $139.30. The total cost for the upgrade is $160 + $139.30 = $299.30AUD.
Instead, if Tess renews the license for Charlie first ($27.30) and then upgrades to the Template Pass ($139.30) it will only cost her $166.60AUD. A total saving of $132.70AUD!
